What is the main form of radiator heat dissipation?


Radiator heat dissipation in the form of two main forms of radiation and convection.
Radiation heat transfer: heat radiation in the form of radiation, without the use of any medium, can be spread in a vacuum state.
Convective heat transfer: the use of air or other media to spread heat, such as coal stove to heat the air. The air will heat all the items in the room, and the convectors rely mainly on the medium (air) to spread the heat.
The traditional sense of the radiation radiator, refers to the radiator in the total heat dissipation in the proportion of the share of the radiator. At present, the most typical type of radiation cast iron radiator, which rely on the radiation spread by the heat of only 30%, while 70% of the heat is convective transmission. The convective heat sink is based on a radiant heat exchanger (or minimal) radiator, such as a copper-aluminum composite convection radiator.
